The latest track courtesy of XSKULL8 entitled ‘Watch Me Bleed’ is a radio ready slice of propulsive Rock that melds the soaring melodies of Parkway Drive, the chunky rhythmic propulsion of Korn and the rousing riffs of Adema into a shimmering and cohesive slice of commercially viable, stadium oriented Rock that will undoubtedly appeal to fans of infectious singalong choruses everywhere.
Having already laid siege to the Billboard Rock charts with their debut single ‘Leaves Are Falling’, there is no doubt in my mind that ‘Watch Me Bleed’ will follow suit and cause quite a stir with its rousing vocals, scorching rhythms and chunky riffs.
Beginning with a compressed intro and then barrelling forward with a bevy of captivating rhythms, a juicy verse and a singable chorus, ‘Watch Me Bleed’ is seemingly tailor made to generate traction and if it already hasn’t it certainly will create a buzz for it is a glistening slice of immaculately composed music that sways with sincerity and rhythmic swagger.
These gents know how to construct captivating music and they do it with aplomb. I would be remiss if I were not to mention that I even heard Creed like cadences threaded throughout ‘Watch Me Bleed’.
When it comes to emotive, evocative and effervescent Rock of this sort XSKULL8 deliver the goods in a package that glistens with all the hallmarks one could want when it comes to this type of tuneful, propulsive and popular Rock.
