REBAELLIUN – UNDER THE SIGN OF REBELLION

Brazilian bruisers Rebaelliun unleash a deadly froth of violent Death Metal that shares traits with Krisiun, Deicide, Morbid Angel and Blood Red Throne.

These stalwarts have been plying their punishing wares since 1998 and their latest album ‘Under The Sign Of Rebellion’ is testament to their veteran status, displaying a band at the height of their powers as they conjure forth a high-octane platter of frenzied, immaculately executed Death Metal ferocity.

Featuring Sandro Moreira on drums, Evando Passos on guitar alongside backing vocals and Bruno Anana on bass and vocals, this South American power trio have been through their share of trials and tribulations yet continue to unleash bone crunching, blast beat riddled Death Metal that bristles with vitriol and vehemence.

Following the ominous intro, first track proper ‘All Hail The Regicide’ barrels out of the gate with a blistering demonstration of destructive double kick devastation, surging riffs and commanding vocals.

Throughout ‘Under The Sign Of Rebellion’ Rebaelliun exhibit a flair for savagery and song-craft in equal measure resulting in ten triumphant slabs of smoldering, arena-ready Death Metal that are as infectious as they are brutal and unrepentant.

“The Decimating Opposition’ flows like wildfire with its infectious riffs, scorching leads, vein-bursting rhythms and economical song structure whilst ‘In Heresy We Trust’ is a Thrash inflected piece of propulsive Death Metal that is utterly homicidal in intent and execution.

Folks, this album is all killer and no filler! Every track that makes up ‘Under The Sign Of Rebellion’ is an explosive exercise in unpretentious Death Metal that will have fans of this type of Death Metal fare celebrating with glee.

Rebaelliun joins the charge by contributing yet another crushing album to a year populated by new albums by fellow Death Metal legends such as Dying Fetus, Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse and Obituary. Listen and burn!
